This is a totally adorable vintage keepsake box. Well, the box is not vintage, but the trims are.

The box is made of wood and measures 4" x 4". The box is painted with two colors of acrylic paint and blotted to create a weathered look. Vintage plastic doughnut beads and vintage rhinestones were taken from a vintage 1960s dress, removed and added to the top and top of each side of the box. The bottom half of the box contains vintage crystal beads take from the same dress and they form of flowers. This same pattern is on the inside top of the box. The bottom as well as top and bottom of the inside of the box are lined with blue felt.

What a great way to recycle materials and also create a cute lil' keepsake box.
